Tether Station uses an innovative ultralight cable to connect the drone to the base station on the ground so the multirotor has access to a continuous power source during the operation. It is compatible with most multirotor systems, especially with drones.

EMBEDDED VERONTE AUTOPILOT TECHNOLOGY
Tethered Station for multirotor drones includes Veronte Autopilot technology, providing advanced system control. Apart from tethered release system control, embedded Veronte autopilot monitors embedded sensors (current, temperature, power input…) predicting and detecting system failures and commanding safety procedure activation.
By combining the Tethered Station with a Veronte Autopilot powered drone, it is possible to install it on moving platforms. The station shares its position with the tethered, so the latter will fly following the base station. This functionality permits the installation of the tethered station on moving platforms, such as cars or boats, as well as it allows the creation of a reliable system for missions where this kind of tool is critical, like surveillance.
SAFER THAN DRONE SYSTEM
Flying using the tethered system makes safety increase dramatically, resulting in a more reliable way of using drones. In line with Civil Aviation Authorities regulations being released worldwide, flight experience is simplified and the drone remains leashed.
Veronte Autopilot technology, together with Tethered Station sensors provides advanced safety means. During flight, the autopilot continuously monitors system health and it can command the drone to land in seconds in case there is any contingency detected, showing a notification to the operator.
Tethered Station is independent on the multirotor used and the installed payload. In this way, it can be used with a wide range of payloads for various applications: cameras, lights, sensors…
Payload can be powered by the ground power system, using the same tether cable to power the drone. It makes possible to customize the payload bay and to use different payloads that may not be suitable for a standard drone due to high power consumption.
