This technology eliminates the weight and maintenance of engines, gear boxes, transmissions, and hydraulics making it more reliable, safer to operate, easier to fly and less expensive to maintain.

The H3 Heavy-lift Vertical Take-off and Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle built by Bio-Cellular Design Aeronautics (BDA) is a high-tech green UAV which utilizes a revolutionary based H202 rotor Tip-jet propulsion system. This technology eliminates the weight and maintenance of engines, gear boxes, transmissions, hydraulics, and does not require a tail rotor to counter act the main rotor torque. This makes the UAV much safer to operate, easier to fly and less expensive to maintain. Although the UAV is light weight (220 lbs.) it can carry payloads of up to 500 lbs and has by far the lowest purchase and operational cost of any comparable UAV on the market.
The aircraft has been FAA certified and all parts installed on the UAV have full FAA traceability and are fully tested, including thermo, load stress, X-ray and non-destructive inspection. All hardware is MIL-Specs, and is manufactured within ISO parameters and intensive QMS-Quality Management System.
The Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) can be locally supplied and delivered through BDA or other suppliers and is easily transported with simple storage in DOT approved containers. The 70% concentration H2O2 is non-flammable and priced on the market under US $ 4.00 per gallon.
The Tip-jet technology offers much higher efficiency and is environmentally friendly with high stability and less vibration then the conventional helicopter design, able to operate in strong winds (such as landing on ships for emergency rescue).
